Beautiful and utterly gorgeous. This blade has exceeded all expectations. The artwork that was featured in this rustic blade with the African black wood scales (which loook wayyyy better in person, this photo does not do them justice). The shave is impeccable I have 2 other Thiers Issard blades both honed to 16,000 grit. Neither of them shave as close as this! I absolutely adore this razor I am a little disappointed that I did not receive the jewelers box that I was told I was going to receive but despite this I would certainly recommend Chris in terms of artwork, design, and functionality his designs are superb. I look forward to ordering another once his wait times decrease.

Wonderful guy that does great work. He made a photoshop mockup of a photo of my actual razor blade in a CG render of the planned scales to make sure we were both envisioning the same thing. No one else does that, it’s a great touch. He is very communicative after the sale, giving updates and photos of how things are going. But the best thing about buying from Chris is the service after the sale. Even after getting my razor back he wants to know how it shaves and gives pointers on proper maintenance and care and will write volumes to answer any question I ask him.
