Handle Shape * 

Pick the shape of your handle.

Steel * 

Choose your razor steel. All steels are high carbon and give an excellent shave. The damascus steel has a very unique look. The blue paper is a traditional Japanese steel that holds a super sharp edge, a little bit more than the others. M4 is a high end stainless steel with high carbon content that takes an amazing edge (the only stainless steel for straight razors I’ve recommended to date). The O1 steel is the standard steel I use for 90% of all my razors – excellent shaving steel.

Blade Width * 

How wide the blade is, from the sharp edge to the spine, in inches. For a starting blade, I recommend 5/8″ to 6/8″. If you want a more dramatic looking blade with a forged look, or an impressive engraving, go 7/8 and above – it gives me more steel to embellish.

Custom Engraving * 

If you want a monogram, scene, or mantra engraved into the steel.
