The German silver inlay is a bygone addition to this razor, making it quite unique.

A premium addition to any vintage straight razor collection, this Bismark blade is an excellent example of late 1800’s to mid 1900’s razor grinds. Perfect for the experienced shaver, or beginner looking to start with the best.

This razor was likely ground by August Müller’s grindhouse between 1892 and 1957, and showcases the lost skills of hand ground German razors.

A fit collectible, or daily shaver for the beginner.

This blade comes professionally honed, polished, and cleaned. I’ve honed this blade up to a 15,000 grit stone, using a blend of rare, naturally mined, vintage barber stones, and professional grade hones.

This razor has passed many high-standard edge and shave tests, and then washed with soap and warm water, bathed in disinfectant (Barbacide), and bathed in 90% isopropyl alcohol.

The razor is treated with a with a long-lasting moisture barrier to ensure rust resilience during use, and shipped with a light coat of antibacterial oil.

My goal is to get folks settled in a straight razor shaving. If you’re not 100% happy with the razor just send me a message.

A re-honing certificate is included with your purchase. Just mail us your razor with your receipt, and I’ll re-hone it for free.

Strop Kit Details:

A timeless strop design from 100% north american steerhide having a smooth grain, putting a fine polish to your razor edge, and keeping it true after shave.

An excellent mid to high grade leather, hand selected from heavy, 8-12 oz thick steer hide. The hide is vegetable tanned, dyed, and finished with a wax giving it a proud designation as “english bridle”. All strops I personally cut in-house to 2″ in width.

An great strop priced very economically, perfect for learning the “x-stroke” with your straight razor. If during stropping you do make a minor cut, the thick leather is forgiving, and small cuts can be sanded away without any compromise to the functionality.

This kit is all a starting straight shaver needs to maintain a razor for many smooth shaves.
