An interesting combination of lustrous materials with an oceanic theme.
High carbon steel for the blade, titanium for the scales, and shell inlay along the tang with a dovetail fit. As a wedge I crafted the shell to mirror the tang inlay, and separated it by a 1mm thick line of fine silver.
All materials share variations of reflectivity, with different temperatures (cool colored steel, warm colored titanium, and mixed colors within the shell).
A subtle monogram engraving on the backside is a nod to the owner.
