An experiment I’m proud of. While studying the grind lines of an old Sheffield blade, I wondered what would happen if I ground the tang inward, through the shoulder.
Once I saw what was possible, I repeated the experiment in a billet of damascus. There have been many razors made, and every so often, an oddity comes off the grinder, having character and interest its own. These little nuances make me happy, let me add subtle and respectful changes to a classic design.
I really like this razor. And I really like the kind couple it went to.
