Classic shapes with contemporary lines, all in a fine razor steel that gives an excellent shave.
Clearly english in spirit with enlarged blade size (9/8” wide blade), set in a very classic scale material – ox horn with some slight streaking. I’ve hand beveled all the sides of both the scales and the razor blade, adding some interesting lines throughout the piece.
As a craftsman, I enjoy these pieces since adding these bevels and shapes by hand make the piece one of a kind, and if done without a confident and steady hand on the grind, the piece needs to be restarted.
