I forged and ground this in the tradition of 1800’s English shaving steel proudly stamped “FOR BARBERS USE”. Hefty grind, and strong horn, and my own touch.
A classic french point and monkey tail accentuate the subtle flowing lines, with a grip that is sturdy and a joy to hold.
A forge finished shank, subtle maker’s mark, and thumb notch add contrast to the polished blade.
Shined brass and mottled ox horn, with flush stacked brass washers make the accentuating hardware.
