How Sharp/Smooth Are The Razors I Hone?
My Finishing Hone:
When you purchase this, your razor is put to my Japanese water stones, followed by my rare Escher Yellow/Green hone. With these traditional water stones, I set the sharpness by hand so it’s shave ready to the highest standards. If you’ve never shaved with an expertly honed “Shave Ready” blade from my shop – you’re in for a treat. The edge is so fine, it just wipes away hair, and strops like a breeze.
Each razor must pass my high-standard shave test, and then washed with soap and warm water, bathed in disinfecting Barbacide, and bathed in 90% isopropyl alcohol. The razor is treated with a with a long-lasting moisture barrier to ensure rust resilience during use, and shipped with a light coat of oil.
